Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways, main reason being other commitments like work and family, this has meant even getting together to rehearse this year has been really difficult.

We have had some good times over the last two and a half years and we definitely part as friends. We'd like to thank everyone who has supported the band, especially the folks from Bo'ness who always came out in numbers to see us play live. Hopefully you will still enjoy listening to the tracks and this site will be left up for that purpose.

The Conviction arrested musical decline on a snowy night early in 2005 and within six months manifested into the current power-house line up steadily building up a fiercely loyal and dedicated fan base. Trademark blistering guitars, fat-head bass notes and bullish drum licks envelop soaring dual vocals thus perfectly articulating the expertly crafted, melodious carnage that is murder mystery punk. Live the band have few peers and rarely do they play a set without at least two encores to appease the fervent masses.
